Base pay range $15.00/hr - $17.00/hr
Description Child Prodigy East, in Lee's Summit, are licensed childcare centers seeking Lead Teachers to support our Toddler classrooms!
To be qualified for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, classroom experience and the ability to pass all background checks.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Full-time, 8am-5pm
Compensation: $15 - $17/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; use our parent communication app efficiently.
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
