Job Description ModeX Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to develop innovative technology and biotherapeutics. The position requires expertise in vector systems, gene delivery, and multispecific antibody therapeutic research. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced, rapidly growing biotech company with a bold vision.
Key Responsibilities
Execute research experiments such as DNA vector construction, mRNA production, protein expression/purification, in vitro assays, and in vivo models to evaluate efficacy of novel gene delivery technology or biotherapeutics.
Plan and execute experiments in a state‑of‑the‑art laboratory, analyzing data and presenting results.
Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology, or related field.
5–8+ years of relevant lab experience (B.S.) or 3–6+ years (M.S.).
Expertise in molecular biology, gene delivery, immunology, and immunoassay.
Hands‑on experience in molecular cloning, gene delivery using mRNA/LNP or DNA/LNP, cell culture (including primary cell lines), protein expression/purification, multi‑color flow cytometry, T cell–based assays, and immunological techniques (ICS, ELISA, Luminex, cytotoxicity, immunoblotting).
Experience in lab management is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and data analysis skills.
Outstanding troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Highly adaptable to a fast‑paced work environment; capable of working independently as well as within project teams.
