General Summary
Under limited supervision from a Senior Level Executive in Leadership Salary Grade M10 and above or Henry Ford Medical Group Chair, provides personal and administrative support services such as preparing correspondence in final form, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, maintaining files and conducting special projects as assigned. Duties require a thorough knowledge of supervisor's areas of responsibility in order to gather data and prepare reports, answer correspondence, conduct projects and so forth. All work is of a highly confidential nature. Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required Associate's Degree in Business or Secretarial field preferred
Skills & Abilities
Strong reading and writing skills for editing reports and drafting correspondence Ability to perform semi-complex arithmetic for reports and budget monitoring Proficient in recordkeeping and filing system management Typing speed of 50 w.p.m. with accuracy Skilled in using multiple software applications
Experience
5-7 years of progressively responsible administrative experience Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and operations
Administrative Expertise
Able to arrange meetings and conferences independently Experience handling confidential and sensitive information Capable of managing correspondence and reports requiring discretion
Interpersonal & Analytical Skills
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism Analytical skills to prepare special reports and manage complex administrative tasks
