Candidates Must Have

Prior experience working in a high-hazard nuclear facility At least 12 years of relevant experience in program or technical management A bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance Applicants Lacking The Above Qualifications Will Not Be Considered. Impact

As a key leader within the Plutonium Mission Consolidated Support (PMCS) Office under the Associate Laboratory Directorate for Weapons Production (ALDWP), you will provide vision, strategic direction, and programmatic oversight for crosscutting support services. Your portfolio will span approximately $400M in scope by FY26, impacting multiple LANL directorates and national security missions. Responsibilities And Duties

Partner with executive-level stakeholders to define program goals, milestones, and scope Lead strategic and tactical planning for cross-organizational plutonium mission support Track and manage large-scale project baselines, including variance detection and recovery planning Support standardization and efficiency initiatives across LANL’s high-hazard operations Minimum Qualifications

Proven program management experience at scale (>$100M scope preferred) Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning in nuclear operations Experience designing or managing technical services in high-hazard environments Strong communication and documentation skills, including stakeholder reporting Desired Skills

Working knowledge of LANL plutonium missions Previous work with a federal production agency Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Advanced technical degree in engineering or science Experience using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Experience with classified networks and rednet accounts Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and 12 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced degree in a related field is highly desired Why Work at COMPA Industries?
