Shipping and Receiving Clerk (2nd Shift)
Pay Rate:
$19.00/hour
Location:
Huntington Beach, CA
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm
Job Description/Essential Duties
Pack orders and prepare shipments for UPS and freight delivery.
Stock inventory from assembly personnel.
Prepare shipping documents and schedule freight pick-ups.
Route freight economically and meet customer requirements.
Request freight quotes as needed.
Prepare and package products, parts, and other items for shipment.
Inspect and document freight upon arrival; resolve damage claims.
Verify and process receipt of goods from suppliers.
Pick parts and products to fill orders.
Monitor and communicate low inventory levels.
Cycle count inventory and assist with inventory problem resolution.
Complete inventory transactions for receiving and issuing inventory.
Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment for moving and loading/unloading freight.
Use inventory and shipping software systems.
Required Skills and Attributes
Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Compliance with safety regulations and ability to use personal protective equipment.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and forklift operation skills.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
At least six months of similar work experience in a related field.
