Position Summary This is a time-limited position with an estimated duration of 2 years.
The Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for oversight of laboratory samples for all disease groups, including knowledge of trial-specific requirements, interactions with vendors, sample processing and shipping, and maintaining supplies. The Technician will also attend biopsies and collect specimens from clinics and operating rooms.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Working knowledge and facility with information technology
Ability to acquire and apply knowledge from study and review of defined sources
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to collect, record, and document information
Ability to review information for completeness and accuracy
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
Ability to coordinate work with others and contribute to a team environment
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Experience with processing and shipping laboratory samples as well as preparing study specific kits
