Position Summary The HVAC Install Manager oversees the daily operations of the installation department, ensuring high-quality installations, team efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role supports field teams, manages job progress and budget compliance, and serves as a key liaison between installers, customers, and supporting team.
Key Responsibilities
Verify daily accuracy of equipment and materials; assist installers in loading and dispatching jobs efficiently.
Review installation coordination and schedules to identify opportunities and ensure seamless job execution.
Maintain profitability by controlling material and labor costs and keeping installations within budget.
Ensure all installations meet code and inspection requirements.
Support installation crews throughout the day to resolve any technical or logistical challenges.
Handle customer communications to deliver a 5-star customer experience.
Coach team members to minimize callbacks and out-of-code (OC) issues.
Oversee truck stock management to ensure inventory is replenished appropriately without excess.
Monitor vehicle condition reports and company tool assignments to ensure safety and accountability.
Collaborate with the Field Operations Manager and Sales Manager on training initiatives and cross-departmental opportunities.
Respond promptly to calls, texts, and emails throughout the workday.
Attend required company and departmental meetings.
Foster a positive team atmosphere aligned with company culture and values.
Conduct or assist with one-on-one meetings to support crew member growth and professional development.
Qualifications
3–5 years of HVAC installation or management experience preferred
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, codes, and installation processes
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality workmanship
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
