Logistics Analyst (Shipping/Receiving)

Serco is seeking a Logistics Analyst for their MILSACOM contract supporting NUWCDIVNPT in Middletown, RI. You will be part of a small team supporting Code 34 from NUWC, working with other Serco employees and government employees from NUWC.
Responsibilities
Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications; examine items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit; compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
Approve or reject items and record inspection and disposition information for documentation in PDREP (Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program).
Read labels, tags, identification plates, and stenciled markings to ensure that items, such as serial and part numbers, correspond with invoices and shipping documents (DD‑1149) and that parts are securely mounted and/or packaged to prevent damage.
Maintain a working knowledge of MS Office products.
Hold an active or interim Secret security clearance.
Demonstrate excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of logistics experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Active or interim Secret security clearance.
Willingness to learn operating an electric pallet jack.
Willingness to learn operating a forklift.
Ability to perform minor physical work as needed.
Proficiency with MS Office computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
