Senior Scheduler - Automation
for Life Science, Industrial Manufacturing and Technology projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed OT/MES schedules using Primavera P6 across multiple API facility projects
Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for automation, MES, industrial networks, and process control systems
Maintain flexible integration between OT/MES and master schedules while preserving critical dependencies
Define interface points and milestones between OT/MES and other project workstreams (e.g., construction, CQV)
Collaborate with CQV and master schedulers to align validation sequences and integrate timelines
Participate in cross-functional scheduling reviews to resolve dependencies and conflicts
Ensure consistency in coding structures, calendars, and reporting standards across scheduling teams
Schedule design, configuration, FAT/SAT, and deployment of automation systems
Plan MES implementation phases including build, testing, and cutover coordination
Coordinate installation and commissioning of industrial network infrastructure
Schedule PLC/DCS programming, SCADA configuration, and system integration activities
Account for API manufacturing constraints and shared resources across Boulder site facilities
Integrate CSV activities and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) into OT/MES schedules
Conduct critical path analysis and identify OT/MES schedule risks and mitigation strategies
Generate weekly updates and reports, supporting change management and audit readiness
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of Life Sciences Manufacturing Automation project scheduling experience, with expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6
At least 5 years of OT/MES scheduling in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments
Proven success working within large capital project teams and multi-scheduler environments
Strong understanding of MES lifecycles, OT systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC), and industrial networks
Familiarity with pharmaceutical CSV protocols, validation cycles, and regulatory frameworks
Skilled in schedule integration, loose coupling methodologies, and multi-project P6 databases
Advanced knowledge of CPM and schedule network analysis techniques
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across CQV, construction, engineering, and IT teams
PSP or PMP certification preferred; knowledge of GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11 is an asset
Experience with both brownfield expansions and greenfield API facility construction projects
