About the Role We are seeking a hands‑on, people‑focused
Production Supervisor/Coach
to lead our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across operations. You will supervise up to 40 hourly employees and 1–2 team leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and performance.
Shift Hours 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
Ensure proper staffing, training, and equipment availability.
Promote a respectful, fair, and consistent work environment.
Monitor and improve housekeeping, scrap, and downtime metrics.
Maintain accurate timecards and overtime equalization.
Coordinate maintenance needs and write work orders.
Support ISO14001 and TS16949 compliance.
Communicate effectively across shifts and departments.
Participate in 8D problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain production and attendance records for HR.
Train and mentor team members, including conflict resolution and coaching.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Experience with metal stamping, welding, JIT assembly, and labor relations is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO14001 and TS16949 standards.
