In This Position, You Will
Oversee building maintenance, contracted services, and asset renewal.
Communicate with other departments to assist in their budget or capital improvement plan preparation.
Play a key role in planning, coordinating, and administering the Town's facility asset/equipment replacement program.
Develop and manage professional service contracts as required to meet Town Council, Town, and Facilities Maintenance goals, directing contracted consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Provide technical assistance on all major capital improvement projects (new Town buildings), including participation in pre‑construction meetings, design reviews, drawing reviews, construction meetings as needed, and post‑construction activities.
Assist employees with complex trades activities and/or maintenance jobs.
Respond to call outs after hours and on weekends to support 24/7 operations; work special events.
Manage programs related to facilities operations maintenance, building automation and control systems, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, exterior maintenance, custodial, and energy management.
