Summary Over the last several years, the University of Florida Levin College of Law has expanded our national profile through a number of strategic initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing student organization and career services events and programs for 1L, 2L, 3L and LL.M. classes of the law school.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and oversee student organization and career services events and programs.
Advise and support student groups and special student populations in organizing, planning and executing events.
Ensure compliance with university and departmental policies and procedures.
Assist in the implementation of student organization, student life, and career development workshops, panel discussions, and programs.
Coordinate recruiting events, including firm receptions and large-scale events.
Serve as the Student Event Liaison, working with student group leaders and coordinating communications.
Assist the Senior Assistant Dean of Students in data entry and reporting for Career Services.
Attend student group events, employer events, and industry events.
Perform other duties in furtherance of strategic goals.
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree in education or an academic field directly related to the program coordinator’s area of responsibility, or bachelor’s degree in education or a related field plus two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Excellent communication and computer skills, strong project management abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence, proven creative problem‑solving, and experience managing multiple projects.
Salary $50,000 - $57,500 annually.
