The Global Procurement Specialist will oversee all procurement activities, focusing on sourcing high-quality products domestically and internationally while optimizing cost, ensuring product durability, and fostering robust vendor relationships. This role requires strategic leadership, deep supply chain expertise, and a proactive approach to navigating complex global markets to support our company"s growth and profitability. Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies to source products that meet stringent quality, durability, and cost requirements Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and contract conditions Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships to ensure reliability, exclusivity, and priority access to high-quality materials Conduct market research and trend analysis to anticipate supply chain risks, forecast price fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, sales, and finance) to align sourcing with product specifications, demand forecasts, and budget constraints Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements Utilize procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage purchase orders, track inventory, and analyze spend data Lead cost-benefit analyses and negotiate contracts to maximize value while minimizing risks Monitor supplier performance, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain supply chain efficiency Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions Qualifications
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with experience navigating complex global supply chains Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking and problem-solving skills Knowledge of compliance regulations (e.g., SOX, ISO) and sustainable sourcing practices Seniority level
