Event Concierge Coordinator Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park is a luxurious four‑diamond hotel located in downtown Atlanta, offering premium service to guests and a dynamic work environment for staff. The Event Concierge plays a key role in supporting Convention Services by acting as a liaison between on‑site clients and hotel departments, ensuring events run smoothly, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Support all members of the Catering & Convention Services team, ensuring their planned events are executed in line with hotel directives and customer expectations.

Act as a primary liaison between on‑site meeting planners and hotel operating departments, communicating information clearly and efficiently.

Ensure the accuracy of meeting room set‑up information and food & beverage details in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and meeting planner expectations.

Coordinate all logistics for exhibitor needs and set‑up, including box delivery, electrical and A/V needs, and payment methods.

Keep the work area clean and clear of standing water, debris, or objects that could hinder safe and efficient performance.

Carefully review all group Banquet Event Orders and Resumes to understand customer expectations and ensure their execution by operating departments.

Ensure room setups are on time and meet Omni banquet standards.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all banquet operation areas.

Remain accessible to clients, Convention Services Manager, and hotel operating departments via mobile communication devices during assigned shifts.

Inform the Engineering department of any items out of order or in need of repair via Synergy.

Connect with all on‑site contacts before events, confirm satisfaction, and provide means to reach the Event Concierge.

Communicate with Front Desk to ensure VIP and suite arrangements are accurate.

Complete a floor report for any group opportunities or successes occurring throughout the day.

Complete daily/monthly punch lists of meeting space and public space for Banquets/Hauskeeping/Engineering.

Provide clerical and administrative support in an office environment.

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Support Convention Services Managers in updating current Function Space Agenda information in Salesforce FDC.

Create Banquet Event Orders for group events as requested.

Coordinate logistics and distribute information for site visits and groups, including transportation, amenities, and schedule of events.

Work efficiently in Salesforce FDC, Alice, and OPMS systems.

Process and distribute paperwork to clients and hotel operational departments.

Qualify telephone inquiries by determining clients’ needs and properly referring them to the appropriate manager.

Complete special projects and reports as assigned by Convention Service Managers.

Qualifications

Proven self‑starter (assertive).

Effective communication skills (oral and written).

Strong guest service orientation.

High standard of appearance.

Strong organizational skills.

Decision maker and problem solver.

Extremely flexible and willing to work required hours.

Detail‑oriented.

Ability to think on feet.

Prior hotel experience.

This role is designed for a 5‑day, 8‑hour/day work schedule, but the hotel operates 24/7. Employees may need to shift schedules as business demands.
