Usual Duties The Department of Political Science seeks qualified instructors to teach courses in our online Masters in Public Administration (MPA) program. We are especially interested in hiring candidates who could teach Special Topics courses that would fit into the program’s two concentrations in Public Management and Emergency Management. Depending on student demand and instructor qualifications, we could have additional opportunities to teach upper-division undergraduate courses.

Degree Requirements
Ph.D. in political science, public administration, public affairs, or related fields.
We are also interested in candidates who hold a Masters degree in public administration and have significant professional experience.
We will also consider candidates that are AD in a relevant Ph.D. program.
Experience Requirements
Teaching experience, especially in online teaching, is preferred, though not required.
