Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher for an on‑site, full‑time role at our Montessori Child Development Center in Huntington Beach, CA. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing Montessori education methods to guide children ages 2 to 3 years in their developmental milestones. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining a developmentally appropriate classroom environment, lesson planning, observing and tracking progress, and fostering independence and collaboration among children. Collaboration with families and the teaching team is an essential aspect of this role, contributing to a supportive and inclusive community for our students.
Qualifications
12 ECE units (3 of which are Infant/Toddler units)
Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; experience with toddlers is preferred.
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
Certification in first aid and CPR is strongly recommended; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs and behaviors.
Passion for nurturing young children’s growth through engaging activities and positive interactions.
