Position Overview The Sales Manager has sales responsibilities for the eastern territory for Midwest Automotive Designs. These responsibilities include managing dealer relationships, regional market growth, and revenue targets. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand market share, strengthen dealer partnerships, and drive profitability. The Sales Manager serves as a key liaison between the manufacturer and its dealer network, ensuring consistent brand representation, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Dealer Network Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with authorized RV dealers and distributors.

Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers in targeted markets.

Support dealer performance through sales training, marketing collaboration, and territory planning.

Conduct regular visits to dealer locations to assess performance and market opportunities.

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet production and revenue goals.

Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.

Collaborate with marketing and product development teams on pricing, promotions, and new product launches.

Negotiate dealer contracts, pricing programs, and volume incentive plans.

Performance & Reporting

Track and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity.

Present regular performance reports to senior management, including market insights and growth recommendations.

Customer & Market Engagement

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and dealer meetings.

Gather feedback from dealers and end users to support continuous product improvement.

Ensure alignment between the company's brand image, product offerings, and customer expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

5+ years of experience in sales management within the RV, automotive, marine, or outdoor recreation manufacturing industries.

Proven track record of dealer network management and sales growth.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM systems.

Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time).

Compensation The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $87,500 - $137,500 and in New York is $87,500 - $137,500. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
