Responsibilities Main responsibilities:

Perform routine manual housekeeping work while cleaning various areas across campus.

Clean, mop, scrub, sweep, and vacuum floors, as well as stairwells and hallways.

Clean lavatories, wash windows, move furniture to thoroughly clean areas, and collect and remove trash.

Shift Schedule Work schedule: 40 hours per week. Shift options include:

4 AM - 12:30 PM, Monday - Friday

8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

10:30 PM - 7 AM, Sunday - Friday

Qualifications Minimum Experience/Education: 6 months of experience in housekeeping. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions, and ability to perform medium to heavy physical work (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Preferred Experience: 6+ months of professional cleaning experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills:

Working knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning procedures including proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Ability to visually inspect work area to ensure it has been cleaned.

Physical requirements: walking, bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
