Position Title Surgical Technologist Adjunct Instructor Pool

Position Details • Type: Part‑time (15 hours per week)

• Salary: $50 per hour

• Schedule: Online, evenings, and weekends

Summary Implement the instructional elements of a nationally certified approved program, including theory, skills, and clinical. Instructors will use multiple teaching methods, including online instruction, face‑to‑face skills training, and simulation activities. Instructors will coordinate and facilitate the student clinical experience.

Essential Role Responsibilities

Assess student engagement and understanding during each class

Collect, grade, and report assignments and homework

Assess and monitor student progress while providing meaningful feedback

Provide academic advice and guidance to students

Maintain and update course materials and syllabus to reflect current industry best practices

Deliver online instruction and face‑to‑face skills instruction

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Credential in surgical technology through a nationally accredited certification program

Certification must be current

Minimum three years’ experience in the operating room as a Surgical Technologist or OR Nurse

Prior teaching experience in surgical technology or other healthcare training programs (a plus)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong desire to support student success and prepare students for employment in healthcare
