Responsibilities
Partner with ByteDance's business units to improve the network security products' effectiveness.
Respond to security incidents and provide remediation and mitigation solutions promptly.
Research network threats and improve the detection and prevention capabilities of products.
Work with development teams to fulfill new requirements.
Qualifications
Self‑driven problem solver with great communication and collaboration skills.
B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant majors with at least 3 years of network security products (e.g., WAF, DDoS defense, NDR) operation experience.
Hands‑on experience with network protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP, etc.
Familiar with popular web application risks and mitigation techniques.
Familiar with popular DDoS attack types and mitigation techniques.

Job Information Compensation:
$187,040 – $359,720 annually . Base salary is one part of a total package that may include discretionary bonuses, incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid holidays and personal time.
