Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO) , a well-established orthopedic group, is seeking a
BE/BC, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Joint Surgeon
to join our growing practice in
New Orleans, Louisiana . This opportunity offers a strong referral base with an immediate need for joint revisions in the greater New Orleans area, excellent clinical support, and a clear pathway to partnership — with general orthopaedic call required.
Join as an associate physician with a guaranteed base salary for two years, a productivity bonus model, and additional call pay from two hospitals.
2026 adult reconstruction fellows are encouraged to apply.
Practice and Position Highlights
Established reputation: Founded in 1949, OANO is known for its exceptional standard of care and collegial environment.
Collaborative team: Join a multidisciplinary team of 7 orthopedic surgeons and 3 physician assistants across subspecialties.
Clinical locations: Two modern and fully equipped clinics in New Orleans and Metairie.
Surgical focus: Ideal for a surgeon focused on hip and knee replacement, including complex and joint revision cases.
Call responsibilities: General orthopaedic call required and additionally compensated, on a 1:5 schedule.
Call volume is manageable with low-energy cases such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and distal radius fractures.
Physician assistants assist with initial ED consults and post-call support.
