Tessera is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our dedicated team supporting operations at the United States Air Force Academy. In this role, you will play a vital part in receiving, storing, and distributing mission‑critical materials and equipment. You will maintain accurate inventory records, operate warehouse machinery, and ensure safety and compliance every step of the way. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in accordance with military and contract standards
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate inventory records using Maximo, DoD e‑Tools, and other approved systems
Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or recurring inventory issues
Issue and distribute parts, tools, and equipment to maintenance teams
Prepare documentation for shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments
Collaborate with logistics and maintenance personnel to ensure timely delivery
Monitor warehouse safety and environmental compliance
Report any concerns or violations promptly
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training
Qualifications:
1‑2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred
Familiarity with inventory systems such as Maximo or DoD e‑Tools is a plus
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking; standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required
Must persevere to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time
Requirements:
A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance
