Primary Duties
Provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to department staff and leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining staff schedules and vacation logs.
Assists with general office functions such as answering phones, routing calls, handling mail, maintaining filing systems, preparing documents and presentations, and supporting licensing and credentialing processes as needed.
Coordinates logistics for meetings and events, including room bookings, agendas, materials, minutes, food orders, and virtual meeting setup (e.g., WebEx).
Maintains inventory and orders supplies and equipment within cost‑effective guidelines; ensures office equipment is properly maintained according to protocols.
Supports data entry, transcription, and the compilation of reports or statistical/financial information for department projects or initiatives.
Participates in departmental meetings, committees, and outreach activities; may serve on multi‑disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
Provides back‑up support to other administrative staff to ensure continuity of office operations.
Ensures compliance with departmental policies, quality and safety standards, and regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years clerical/office experience preferably in a healthcare setting supporting a leader/administrative function.
