Job Description We are seeking a talented and visionary Executive Chef (M/F/X) to lead our culinary team in the beautiful coastal town of Syvota, Greece. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, creating innovative menus, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Develop and implement creative, seasonally-inspired menus that showcase local Greek and Mediterranean flavors

Lead and mentor a team of skilled culinary professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Manage kitchen operations, including food cost control, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations

Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless front-of-house and back-of-house operations

Source high-quality, local ingredients and maintain relationships with suppliers

Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all menu items

Participate in menu engineering and pricing strategies to maximize profitability

Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menu offerings

Oversee kitchen maintenance, cleanliness, and organization

Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant by participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes

Qualifications

Culinary degree or equivalent culinary education

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels, with a proven track record of leading kitchen teams

Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food cost control

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems

Creativity and innovation in menu development and food presentation

In-depth knowledge of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine

Familiarity with local Greek ingredients and culinary traditions

Understanding of and commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

Valid Food Safety Certification

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations

Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
