Document Controls Coordinator – Kiewit Power Constructors
Location: Platteville, CO | Employment type: Full‑time | Pay range: $45,000 – $68,000 per year. Position Overview The Document Control Coordinator shall be skilled in using technology to complete their tasks. They are primarily responsible for independently administering and managing the project document control system(s), including logging, transiting and distributing all relevant documents into the system and distributing them to the appropriate project team members. They also coordinate and collaborate with project staff to facilitate and expedite the project team’s efficiencies, maintaining accurate and current documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Maintain the Project Document Control Program throughout the project’s lifecycle. Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieval of electronic and hard‑copy documents. Oversee the proper approval, maintenance and distribution of documents and retention policies. Replicate documents, prepare reports and addendums. Maintain records of incoming document transmittals and prepare outgoing transmittals. Support the system to ensure documents are accurate and current. Perform process audits to ensure accuracy of all controlled documentation. Assist with requests for information from external customers, vendors and inter‑company customers. Participate in corrective/preventive action items and investigations. Guide a team to administer document flow and distribution at the project site. Train projects on document control standards, workflow and systems. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Perform other duties as assigned by project management. Support company goals with any required task. Qualifications Basic knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS). Knowledge of records/information management principles and methodologies is an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SharePoint and InEight software is a plus. Basic knowledge of document control procedures and office equipment such as computers, copy & plotter machines. Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and learn new skills. Detail‑oriented, flexible and highly motivated. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a project team with minimal supervision. Other Requirements Regular, reliable attendance. Work productively and meet deadlines. Effective and professional communication with supervisors, employees and peers. Safe and effective performance, following all instructions and policies. Work during normal operating hours, with overtime and weekends as required. Ability to work at various locations and conditions. Compensation & Benefits Base compensation: $45,000–$68,000 per year (actual compensation varies based on education, experience, skillset and location).
