Office Manager II
Office Manager II at St. Joseph's/Candler manages daily operations, personnel, finance, and patient care services.
Responsibilities
Handles daily personnel management to maintain smooth operations and maximize office efficiencies.
Responsible for practice financial procedures.
Develops, implements, and monitors office policies and procedures (all internal policies and procedures require approval by MGM).
Oversees patient care services.
Responsible for initiation, coordination, and completion of practice development materials.
Monitors daily and monthly operational reports and prepares management reports as needed.
Ensures goals/directives are met by staff; works with Vice President to increase volumes, access, community involvement, and marketing strategies.
Audits scheduling and reporting to ensure accurate performance; ensures requests for standard changes are completed timely, including provider reschedules and no‑show reports.
Collaborates with administration regarding department growth, call volumes, and workflow changes to optimize performance and ensure quality patient care.
Hires, trains, counsels, disciplines, and terminates staff as needed; updates coworker files such as performance evaluations, clinical competencies, job descriptions, organizational chart, net learning modules, and site orientations; ensures HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
Ensures reports are consistent with MGM requirements, data is current and accurate; shares data monthly with scheduling staff and administration to evaluate performance and promote teamwork.
Maintains medical record documentation, including charting and filing; handles telephone etiquette and messages; responds to patient concerns or complaints constructively and timely.
Ensures practice is achieving goals and objectives set by MGM administration; assists with developing operational targets.
Education Bachelor of Business (Preferred)
Experience 2‑3 Years in Medical Practice (Preferred)
License & Certification None Required
