The Therapy SPOT is a multidisciplinary therapy center dedicated to delivering quality therapy services in a child and family-centered environment. Since 2007, we have provided services that include speech, feeding, physical, and occupational therapy, along with aquatic therapy in partnership with Splash in the Boro Aquatic Center. Our team of skilled therapists offers specialized care tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. We are committed to fostering growth and development in a supportive and fun setting.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Statesboro, GA. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, addressing speech and feeding challenges, managing language and communication delays, and providing dysphagia therapy where required. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families to track progress and make modifications as needed is also essential to the role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Speech Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention
Experience addressing a range of communication disorders and language disorders
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with children, families, and team members
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred, CFs are encouraged to apply
Experience in pediatric therapy is an advantage
