The candidate will coordinate and conduct a long‑term field and watershed‑scale hydrological and geospatial research network within the Everglades Agricultural Area in South Florida. Primary methodologies include field monitoring using sensors (water level recorders, automated weather sensors, water quality sensors) and direct sampling (soil and water samples, auto‑samplers, flow measurements, vegetation samples). The candidate will coordinate logistics of field and laboratory data collection and core lab functions (sensor design and troubleshooting, field safety, equipment ordering, lab safety, and data quality control). Hydrologic modeling experience using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) is desired. A valid driver’s license and readiness for statewide travel are required. Additional responsibilities include team coordination, methods development, and maintaining effective relationships with students, postdocs, industry partners, agencies, and the public.
