Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location/work environment: In facility
Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab
Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
Address whole patients and treat them as individuals.
Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence.
Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide care in a compassionate, patient-centered atmosphere.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
