full-time Heavy Equipment Technician - Mechanic
to bring their mechanical expertise to a wide variety of machinery. From forklifts to skid steers to industrial equipment, you'll tackle unique challenges, solve mechanical puzzles, and help keep essential machines running strong. Compensation:
$24.00 - $35.00/hour

You'll work on a broad range of machinery used in material handling, construction, and industrial settings. Your day might involve diagnosing hydraulic issues in a scissor lift, replacing a transmission in a forklift, or tuning up a skid steer for optimal performance. You'll be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety checks—both in-shop and occasionally in the field. This isn't assembly-line work—it’s about solving real mechanical problems and keeping equipment reliable for businesses that count on it. Responsibilities
– Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on forklifts, skid steers, and related heavy equipment. – Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks. – Diagnose hydraulic issues, replace transmissions, and tune equipment for reliability. – Document work performed and maintain tools and parts inventory. – Occasional in-field service and travel as needed. Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience as a general mechanic or equipment technician Ability to provide basic tools Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of forklift mechanic experience Experience with construction or industrial machinery Experience in a plant, industrial, or construction environment Automotive service training or ASE certifications Next Steps
