Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $73,000.00/yr
About the Company This family owned business is seeking a bookkeeper/accountant due to retirement. This Monday to Friday, onsite role is the accounting lifeline of the organization as you prepare and maintain the books for multiple entities. Lucrative 401k and a corner office! Comp is up to 73k. Candidates MUST have a stable work history and 3-5+ years of accounting & bookkeeping experience.
About the Role The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
Responsibilities
Accounts payable & receivable
Reconciliation of monthly bank statements
Process monthly fees for all properties
Pay annual Real Estate and Personal Property taxes
Maintain & enter new vendor files within Accounting CS platform
Transfer and post funds from intercompany accounts
Pay intercompany loans and commercial loans and record interest
Process work comp and unemployment insurance
Process biweekly payroll, quarterly taxes and garnishments
Process year end payroll, payroll taxes, W-2’s and 1099’s
Run general ledger report, trial balance and financials for each company
Process distributions and monthly draws to individuals and companies
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements

Pay range and compensation package 15% towards 401K but not health benefits. 2 weeks PTO the first year. No health insurance.
