Controller – Inventory – Manufacturing – Bilingual – Spanish Are you a hands‑on Controller with strong manufacturing experience and the ability to speak fluent Spanish? If so, we are looking for a Controller to join a small but growing manufacturer in East LA. The Controller will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and supporting strategic decision‑making by providing critical insights into financial performance. What do you need for this Controller role? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 20+ years of accounting and finance experience People management experience Manufacturing industry experience Bilingual in Spanish – highly preferred Advanced Excel skills What will you do in this Controller role? Oversee and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reports in compliance with GAAP Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments Prepare variance analysis and key performance metrics to monitor business health and performance Provide insights on cost‑saving opportunities and areas to improve profitability Manage cost accounting processes, including standard cost updates and variance analysis Oversee inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and reconciliation with physical inventory Analyze product costs, margins, and profitability by SKU to support pricing and operational decisions Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funding for operations, capital expenditures, and debt obligations Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to optimize cash conversion cycles Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and regulatory requirements, including state and federal filings Implement, document, and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure data accuracy Lead external audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed Evaluate and improve financial and accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy What is in this Controller role for you?
