Embedded Cybersecurity Software Engineer I (Onsite)
Collins Aerospace (a Raytheon Technologies company) seeks an entry‑level Embedded Cybersecurity Software Engineer I to join an advanced cryptographic team located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role is on‑site, requires U.S. citizenship, and demands the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance at the Secret level.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded encryption algorithms in collaboration with hardware, FPGA, and software teams.
Use C++, Python, and embedded Linux to support rapid integration into projects.
Perform product security testing and become a cybersecurity subject‑matter expert for the team.
Contribute to the product lifecycle, ensuring project milestones are met while fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications – Must Have
Bachelor’s degree required; 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excludes internships).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C, C++, Python, and Linux; familiarity with embedded environments.
Secure‑software development mindset.
Knowledge of multi‑threaded and object‑oriented development.
Basic understanding of asymmetric and symmetric encryption algorithms.
