We are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks related to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure for solar systems. Due to the high risks involved, electricians must be responsible individuals with a strong focus on safety precautions. The ideal candidate should be experienced with various electrical devices and systems and confident working on roofs. Responsibilities

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with local codes. Perform service upgrades necessary for interconnection. Meet with city and/or town inspectors to inspect solar installations. Energize, test, and commission solar systems with and without utility connection. Diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using test equipment and tools, locate causes of breakdowns, and correct issues. Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality or performance. Supervise or train workers in installing, maintaining, or repairing electrical wiring and equipment. Ensure electrical work complies with codes and proper installation procedures. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand or power tools. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as inverters. Follow organizational policies and OSHA requirements, completing necessary training. Oversee materials and equipment to ensure code compliance. Attend safety and training meetings as required. Assemble conduits and connect wiring, including on roofs and in attics. Perform troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units. Qualifications

Electrical experience is preferred but not required. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight if necessary. Valid license to practice as an electrician. Benefits
