Duties
You will serve as the Information Technology (IT) Technical Specialist Lead in an Enterprise shared services environment.
You will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and configuration management of multiple technologies associated with network and computing systems.
You will serve as the technical lead to create, plan, and implement improvements to existing network and computing system architectures.
You will serve as a team member responsible for implementation, integration, and daily operation of network and computing systems in a Data Center or Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
You will monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot the network and computing systems across the Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) to maintain optimal performance and prevent catastrophic failures.
You will support troubleshooting, problem isolation and resolution efforts, from start to finish, ensuring outages are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 441 level Intermediate within 6 months of appointment.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
