Advanced Sonographer - PRMC - Ultrasound Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an Advanced Sonographer for the PRMC Ultrasound team.

Compensation Pay range: $37.29/hr - $56.92/hr (maximum $56.92/hr).

Overview Performs general diagnostic ultrasound exams and related data for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. Performs all cardiac ultrasound (echocardiograms) and routine vascular exams for evaluation of abnormal vascular defects or disease. Exams are digitally acquired, measurements obtained per modality. Ensures patient safety through procedure protocols. Takes call as needed. Full time, varied days and hours.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in related health science or graduate of an accredited program preferred.

1-5 years related experience.

New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (DMS, VS).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography credential in two of the following specialties: Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), Breast (BR), Pediatric (PS).

Or credential through ARRT (S).

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential in at least one specialty: Adult Echocardiography (AE), Pediatric Echocardiography (PE), Fetal Echocardiography (FE).

Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or ARRT vascular (VS).

Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams for objective data collection.

Produce images of the heart to show hemodynamics and function.

Perform routine vascular exams to evaluate potential defects or disease.

Digitally acquire exams, obtain measurements per modality.

Ensure patient safety following protocol and policy adherence.

Respond to on‑call duties as needed.
