Under the direction of a radiologist and the CT supervisor, perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Execute a variety of independent technical procedures that require judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to render prescribed CT procedures. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) (R) with ARRT. Candidate will have one (1) year from hire date to become registered in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT. Or certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required. If certification is not obtained within one year, an additional period of up to one hundred and eighty (180) days may be allowed. Why Work at UAB Medicine
