The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region. Responsibilities
Operate Bone Density and Mammography radiographic equipment in a safe and proficient manner, transport patients, and respond to questions related to reports of exams. Handle patient support equipment, e.g., walkers, O2, etc. Assist with cleaning rooms and equipment, ordering supplies, assisting physicians with invasive procedures, and administer basic CPR. Assist the supervisor in the daily operation of the mammography and bone density departments. Perform various complex and routine mammography exams and maintain high-quality mammograms with a minimum of repeats. Maintain thorough knowledge of mammography and bone density equipment, anatomy and positioning for quality exams. Manage multiple demands with a helpful attitude toward patients, families, office personnel, physicians, and associates. Coordinate patient prepping for smooth patient flow and assist with moving patients when needed. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with other department activities as needed for day-to-day operation. Adhere to all FDA regulations and guidelines and the State Department of Health. Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the assigned area, with understanding of growth and development across the lifespan. Qualified Required
Vocational/Technical Appropriate ARRT certification or ARRT Registry eligible (within 1 year of hire) BLS (required upon hire) Mammography training
