Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an experienced site construction manager. Responsibilities include leading construction administration activities for multi-discipline construction projects in accordance with the project contract and schedule; conducting daily construction inspections to ensure proper installation of equipment; managing the flow of project communications including submittals, RFI's and supplemental instructions; ensuring safety standards are being followed; creating daily construction reports. Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver's license is required.

Education & Experience Requirements The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling eight years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline plus six years of experience

bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related discipline plus four years of experience

no degree plus eight years of experience

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

construction management for three or more projects valued at $50M (or greater) in size

pre-cast concrete food plant construction

construction scheduling

processing paperwork such as RFI's, change orders, supplemental instructions, request for payment, etc.

arranging and conducting site meetings
