Job Summary: The Recruitment Coordinator will support the Corporate Recruiter and HR team in all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process. This position assists with sourcing, scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Pay Range $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr (provided by Thompson Concrete. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk with your recruiter to learn more.)
Duties / Responsibilities
Upholds and promotes the Thompson Mission, Vision, and Values.
Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Corporate Recruiter and HR team.
Assists in posting job descriptions across job boards, social media, and the company website.
Reviews incoming applications, screens resumes, and forwards qualified candidates to the Corporate Recruiter or appropriate hiring managers.
Schedules and confirms interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
Communicates with candidates throughout the process to ensure timely updates and a positive candidate experience.
Owns the onboarding process across all Thompson Companies, ensuring timely completion of background checks, drug screenings, onboarding documentation, and scheduling of new hire orientations.
Maintains accurate and organized records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), UKG experience preferred, but not required.
Assists with planning and attending job fairs, school visits, and community recruiting events when needed.
Helps maintain and update recruitment materials as needed.
Ensures compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
Performs other administrative and recruiting support duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Basic understanding of recruitment or HR best practices preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new systems or ATS software.
Bilingual required (English/Spanish).
Education and Experience
1–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support (preferred).
Associate’s degree in business, human resources, or related field.
Driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel between company locations and recruiting events as needed.
