Focus Staff is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a temporary assignment in Burlington, MA.

Requirements
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited radiologic/ultrasound technology program.
National certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (or equivalent) and state license (if applicable).
Advance certification in specialty (RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular) within 18 months of hire.
BLS certification required.
1‑2 years of clinical experience.
Effective communication, human relations, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
Completed AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment.
RN with diploma or associate's degree and at least 2 years experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric/mental health hospital or outpatient clinic (preferred).
Proficiency in all competencies of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Work Experience At least 2 years of experience required.

Focus Staff builds relationships with healthcare professionals, offering travel assignments, PRN work, or permanent placements.
Responsibilities
Conduct multi‑specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations following departmental procedures.
Work under the direction of the Manager of Ultrasound Services, Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory and Radiology Department, and the Administrative Director of the Department of Surgery and Radiology.
Operate under limited direction of the Medical Director of regional centers, Administrative of regional centers, and the Clinical Coordinator of Ultrasound Services.
Collaborate with experienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasound program.
