ul> What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Process financial transactions, including group and individual billing, ACH transactions, and cash receipt processing
Maintain and balance group and individual accounts receivables, including delinquency processing and terminations
Manage receipt of group admin fees and process vendor payments
Conduct reconciliations and maintain accuracy of group ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies as needed
Provide timely customer service to clients regarding account inquiries and issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or business‑related field
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including professional formatting of communications
Knowledge of health care eligibility and billing procedures, as well as relevant regulations (HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, etc.)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in customer account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with minimal supervision
Familiarity with health insurance industry practices
Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems and client inquiries effectively
Experience in process improvements and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
