How You'll Perform The Role

Lead the HR function at the local site

Manage local staffing and recruiting process

Manage local headcount reports

Process Unemployment Claims

Coordinate all recruitment-related activities including posting/communicating open positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, updating job descriptions, etc.

Conduct new‑hire orientation

Process background checks and pre‑employment requirements

Complete employment verification requests

Maintain employee personnel files

Serve as a member of the Safety Committee

Assist with Employee Relations issues

Compile data and publish related reports including turnover, absenteeism, head count, vacation, etc.

Ensure legal compliance – EEO, AAP, FLSA, etc.

What We Need From You

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, or a combination of education and 5–7 years of work‑related experience required

HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred

Experience with Kronos, ADP or similar HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly employees, management, and peers

Must possess a high degree of professionalism in handling confidential information

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Strong analytical, organizational and auditing skills required
