Who We’re Looking For The Senior Treasury Funding & Liquidity Analyst supports unsecured debt capital markets funding programs and related hedge transactions for Toyota’s domestic and international finance companies. This role involves managing direct funding relationships, executing capital market transactions, and enhancing operational workflows. Additionally, the senior analyst will manage funding for TFSB and private label groups and support investment portfolio functions—including securities transactions, investment manager evaluations, compliance monitoring, risk management, and asset‑allocation analysis.
What You’ll Be Doing Debt Issuance and Sales
Research, source, and market Toyota debt products directly to U.S. institutional investors and assist the region in meeting its daily funding goals.
Coordinate with the Region Manager on presentations and investor/client review meetings to ensure continued client satisfaction and loyalty.
Execute debt issuance and cross‑currency swaps to achieve competitive funding costs while ensuring all trades comply with TFS and TFSB policies/procedures.
Implement trade dispute resolutions and maintain required documentation for regional activity.
Investment and Fundamental Analysis
Execute securities transactions in accordance with TFS and TFSB investment policies, maintaining adequate liquidity and maximizing investment returns.
Research and monitor fixed‑income sectors for relative‑value opportunities across U.S. Treasuries, Agency Notes, Mortgage‑Backed Securities, Corporate Notes, Asset‑Backed Securities, Certificates of Deposit, and other money‑market instruments.
Analyze global macro‑economic data to enhance portfolio performance and provide senior executive updates to ALCO, board presentations, and other committees.
Project and Product Management
Lead projects for new debt products, currency/interest‑rate hedging, contingent liquidity sources, bank credit management, investment research, technology, and operational improvements.
Define objectives, outline phases, establish milestones, and report progress to senior management.
Marketing and Investor Relations
Collaborate with the Region Manager to develop sales/marketing strategy and region performance reporting.
Execute regional marketing initiatives to increase distribution of Toyota fixed‑income products.
Update investor relations materials for internal teams, the TFS website, industry conferences, and client presentations.
Workflow Improvements
Identify operational/workflow inefficiencies and implement formal/informal process‑improvement initiatives.
Provide strategic and tactical funding and investment recommendations to senior management.
Participate in special projects and provide input into staffing, coaching, and cross‑training activities.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required.
1+ year of relevant work experience in a similar field or industry.
Added bonus if you have
Advanced degree preferred (MBA or Master’s).
2+ years of relevant work experience.
FINRA Series 7.
FINRA Series 63/65.
Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Bloomberg usage experience.
Advanced statistics or data analytics skills.
Python or C# programming.
CRM software experience.
Tableau, PowerBI, or Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
