Additional Job Description West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek an Electrophysiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill duties at these additional sites.
Duties
Practice in the area of electrophysiology.
Provide excellent patient care.
Actively involve teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
Completed internal medicine residency program, cardiovascular disease fellowship program, and electrophysiology fellowship.
Board certified or eligible in electrophysiology.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
