M-F 430pm-1:00 am Pay Range:
$24–$26 per hour (based on experience), $10k sign‑on bonus, on‑call every other weekend Role Overview
Provide mobile X‑Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Responsibilities
Perform and process X‑Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment; submit/transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X‑Ray equipment, transport to facilities, and perform exams ordered by the physician, ensuring clinically diagnostic, technically competent images. Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam‑related paperwork/billing documents daily per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain vehicle and X‑Ray equipment. Login for self‑dispatching or call dispatch for case load information. Arrive at first case or location with company vehicle at shift start or leave home 30 minutes prior. Wear company uniform, name tag, radiation badge, and follow dress code. Carry company‑provided phone on personnel. Respond to urgent communication within 15 minutes. Check voicemail/text messages from each client’s facility after completing assigned case(s); at least every 30 minutes. Check for available cases via self‑dispatching system and/or check in with dispatcher every 30 minutes. Verify orders against patient chart; if mismatched or missing, await proper documentation before proceeding. Ensure correct patient identification (two identifiers such as name and DOB); document on requisition and verification screen. Confirm patient images are correctly marked before sending to telerad. Practice proper radiation protection and use provided equipment to meet safety standards. Abstain from alcohol, illegal substances, and weapon possession as per handbook. Update any changes to criminal background and adhere to drug‑free workplace policy. Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner per Code of Conduct. Refuse to decline an assigned case regardless of location. Do not call referral site for purposes other than providing ETA. Record all hours worked accurately in timesheets per protocol. Maintain company‑owned/leased vehicles per maintenance manager and company policies; pay for tickets. Maintain valid driver’s license, provide copies to TridentCare personnel, and comply with periodic checks. Undergo medical physical exams, TB screening at hire and annually, and infection control in‑service; submit documentation within two weeks of last exam. Do not assist with patient transfers; facility staff handle such activities. Required Skills & Credentials
Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements. Valid driver’s license in the applicable state with good standing. Attend required meetings. Connect/disconnect Holter Monitors (if required). Notify supervisor immediately of equipment malfunction. Perform special projects or duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager. Train other technologists as required. Self‑motivated, dependable, and capable of independent work with minimal supervision. Benefits
