Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - KORT Highlands, 2901 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40205
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Compensation: Starting at $22.00/hour
Our KORT Highlands outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top‑notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best possible outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities
Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act
Implement high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies and procedures
Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, enhancing and expanding client relations with centers and their staff
Qualifications
College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
Outpatient orthopedic experience in the last 5 years if a practicing clinician (or outpatient clinical rotation if a current student)
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
CPR certification
