TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent financial advisory practice located in Dexter, MI is hiring a Paraplanner on their growing team.
The Paraplanner plays a pivotal role in supporting advisors in the delivery of financial planning and investment management services. This position conducts research, assists in the creation of financial plans, creation and delivery of financial reports, and stays on top of current investment trends. As part of a firm that runs on the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS), the Paraplanner is expected to embrace accountability, align with company core values, and work within a clear structure of responsibilities and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist advisors in preparing for client meetings, including financial planning briefs, customized reports, and scenario analysis.
Conduct research on financial planning topics (e.g., equity compensation, RMDs, gifting strategies, charitable planning).
Support execution of special client projects and initiatives that improve planning outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning tools, legislation, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
Completion of or currently pursuing CFP education, or experience supporting advisors in creation of financial plans for clients.
Experience or exposure to financial planning best practices.
High attention to detail with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency with portfolio management and financial planning software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
Proactive problem solver with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Alignment with company core values and ability to thrive in a firm that runs on EOS.
Salary Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus
