Position Overview
Reputable Carolina law firm seeking experienced workers' compensation defense attorney for Charlotte offices.
Base pay range: $95,000 - $140,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Conduct depositions of parties, lay witnesses, medical providers, and experts.
Draft persuasive motions and briefs for administrative commission hearings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and risk managers.
Spearhead case strategy development.
Represent clients in mediations and administrative hearings.
Qualifications
3+ years of workers' compensation defense experience, independently managing cases from inception to resolution.
Exceptional research and writing capabilities.
Demonstrated courtroom presence and deposition experience.
Active North Carolina bar membership.
Organized, self‑motivated attorney.
