Reliability Tech B3 Position Overview Shaw Industries is looking for an ATYMultiCraftReliability Tech B3 to primarily focus on maintaining and ensuring capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas of responsibility that impact optimal efficiencies at lowest reasonable cost with the highest reliability. This role will be a combination of the Technician Electrician 3 and Reliability Technician B role to support Plant SI.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide support to the manufacturing processes by troubleshooting and/or repairing industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, compressors, chillers and boilers

Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Clearly communicate all relevant information to the appropriate teams

Observe all safety precautions and standards.

Displays a positive attitude, initiative, and desire to continuously improve.

Troubleshoot and execute repairs of equipment causing or contributing to safety, quality, downtime/productivity opportunities and issues

Maintain/Troubleshoot RGV’s/LGV’s and other automated material handling equipment

Primary Requirements

Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, and flow charts

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Strong computer skills

Ability to identify and diagnose problems and implement corrective action

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with production staff

Must have a flexible work schedule to include overtime as applicable

Industrial welding experience a plus

Experience in a highly automated facility a plus

Experience working on winding equipment a plus

Ability to program PLC’s and understand the manufacturing processes that they accompany
